The Flames will play four games over the next six days, starting with a meeting with the <strong>Toronto Maple Leafs (39-24-3, 81 points)</strong>, a club with a very dangerous roster. As Blake Coleman phrased it post-game, though, it was too little, too late. If the Flames can bring that level of effort and competitiveness early on, that&#8217;s probably what they&#8217;ll need to do throughout this road trip.</p>
<p>With 17 games remaining, the Flames are no longer after style points or moral victories. They need actual points and victories, by hook or by crook. We&#8217;re firmly in the &#8220;get busy living or get busy dying&#8221; part of the season.
